A corded mouse for the same prize as a wireless one will own the wireless mouse.
Yes, they may come to the same level, but after all, the receiver is also connected with a cable, and that interface will - maybe not noticeable, but still - make a difference.
Also, flexibility isn't necessarily higher with a wireless mouse, since obstacles would well affect your signal in a way - again, this mustn't be noticeable, but the longer that way the signal has to travel becomes, the longer will the response time be, aye?
And last but not least - battery life. That'd be so incomfortable to me, oh, checking it all the time... would suck.

Oh! By the way - 2,4 GHz transmission is not good for your cell structure - almost forgot that

hmm that used to be the case but the technology has improved leaps & bounds, my roommate got herself a G7 & loves it, works just fine, maybe you got the shelf display shoved in a box.

I've never used anything but a wireless, but you've piqued my curiosity.  Maybe I'll try a wired mouse for a while and see how that works.

Buy a logitech G7 or MX series Wireless mouse. (those with the 2.4Ghz Frequency.) then you will have no problems.

i feel your pain man. I went back to my wired mouse after attempting to play with 2 different wireless setups. And people ask why I dont really trust wireless.

I've had my MX1000 for ages, never had any problems with it. Only thing that bothers me about it, is if you don't move it for like 5 minutes, it switches itself off, and theres about a 1-2 second delay when you move it again before it switches back on. But in a game of BF2, you obviously won't leave your mouse alone for 5 minutes.
Battery also lasts for a good 30-40 hours before it completely dies on me, solid mouse all round.

My wireless mouse/keyboard set I got for 20 bucks has worn fine... I don't usually do that bad with it. Only problem I have is running the mouse off the pad because it has no cord.
