Yes, mo money mo problems.
My dad's a judge and believe me, it is NOT an easy job.
Roberts says low judicial salaries are "grievously unfair"
Federal district court judges are paid $165,200 annually; appeals court judges make $175,100; associate justices of the Supreme Court earn $203,000; the chief justice gets $212,100.
Cry me a fucking river.

Judges apparently are very highly trained on the federal level, something like the time it takes to get a PHD and people with that kind of experience in the private sector make 300K, so I feel their pain, however don't give the maggots another cent of tax payer money, as they are screwing people left and right.
Sgt_Sieg you should ask your dad how much a criminal court judge levies in fines everyday; I'll wager it's in the thousands. Court is big business.

If he can make that much more, don't accept the appointment. At his current salary Roberts will make 1 million in less than 10 years. I do not feel his pain.ATG wrote:

"It is the first time in the two-decade history of year-end reports by Roberts and his predecessor, the late William Rehnquist, that the chief justice's message has focused entirely on a single subject."
The only topic in his reports and its about him and his peers salary. GG.
why dont we raise the minimum wage while we're at. at least give some balance to the force.
