Hello,I would like to know what you think si the best type or brand of paintball guns are good for woodsball. I would say a Tippmann for my needs.My paintball gun is in the shop getting pimped out into a G36C right now.I have some pictures from the website.

Funny thing is,the kit costs more than my gun.OMG...

Personally, I would have recommended a marker upgrade (to an A-5 or, wait a bit, and get an X-7) rather than an overpriced, heavy milsim kit. But, live and let live. Have fun with that.

And yes, I am still better than you at paintball.

Nope. Paintball isn't geared towards absolute impact-at-xhairs-accuracy. With that said, all you need is about 14" of unported barrel; after that, its only the quality of the interior polish that really matters. For some sweet "M82-esque" acc., I'd go for a Stiffi or a J&J Ceramic. Or PVC, if you are economically-minded.

For those of you who think you have an advantage over me with a +14" barrel, you are wrong if you think the betterness has anything to do with your barrel. +14", the extra pipe only slows things down.

i know im going to get a Lapco A5 to 98 custom barrel thread and then get a special type of stiffi.hopefully i will have money from me selling my airsoft gun for $125.00

You guys are rec players, I don't do that. Albeit I did used to play for the NPPL, for team atmosfear better known as 'fear' we've gone to the world cup twice, I got the honor of playing with my fav Billy Ceranski, Rocky Cagnonie and Bob Long Iron Men. I used to have an Excalibur, dark angel LCD and numerous cockers. I would shoot a case of paint (2k rounds) in a single game. I played front because I was fast and could squeeze in the smallest places! So.. go electro pneumatic or at least a cocker.

Huh, for me it's the opposite...

I have a spyder java 2000, talk about old school. Didn't even come w/ an expansion grip...

Anywho, I bought an angel 16" barrel w/ adapter for spyders and my fps went from reg 275 to 350 with the added length.

The gas has longer to travel and without porting it has nowhere to escape so the gas travels faster and faster... Or so I was taught.
