kill streak

i need some tips on how to get at least a 10 kill streak. i can't seem to get over 8 before i get killed. i usually don't get raped during a round and end with a decent k:d ratio. for instance, i'll have 25 kills and 6 deaths, but they'll be consistantly spaced out during the round, so no infantry combat medal and/or pin for me.

i think my problem may be that i tend to be a team player vs. a lone wolf, so i will rush into a firefight, get a few kills, then die.

please, no flames and/or calling me a 'noob' because i can't seem to get this. however, suggestions are welcome and will result in karma.

Edit: Sorry, I was thinking BF2. Just go sniper and hide off to the side, get in a mech, tank, buggy, or helijet.

Go on Fall Of Berlin, get on the second gun in an APC. Then you can easy get 10 kill streak

Been getting 40-76 (highest) kill streaks on Fall of Berlin

Try Engineer on a Titan: Collect kills with AA turrets and ground weapons, have the abillity to repair your stuff, get a lot of team points (repairs and kill assists) - and don't die a single time.

Place explosives on the titan and wait...
Wait for the enemy running into a Claymore or being blown up by your RDX.
Just make sure that there are some support guys giving you ammo.

1: Titan Guns
2: Being in a Tank on Minsk in PAC team during Conquest mode and being at the spawn area shooting at the people who are in the bunker.
3: Whore a Mech/APC on a small infantry map and hope they don't come with Rockets/Pilum.

Those are the 3 most easiest way to get it or play as a sniper and lie far up on a hill close to a controll point that people love to cap.

the best way is titan guns because you can't die, unless you get team killed.

or you could try commander on a conquest map and use your arty...

or use vehicles, or be in a good squad with medics...

Tank or Walker on Counquest mod on any BIG map. Whats very important, and I mean VERY, is DONT cap flags. If you stay away and "snipe" with a Tank you will definitly get a good Killstreek. Also be an engineer and hide/repair as soon as you get under 50% HP.
If you menage to find another smart Tank whore and stick together, you can go entire round without dying.

i have a load of those pins, i find the easiest way to get them is commander on maps such as Berlin or Belgrade, i sit in the ground attack missile thing ROACHER or something so i cant just be pinged of by a lucky sniper and air strikes

I think by this point I have...uh...(checks in-game screen) 985 Combat Efficiency Pins and 165 of the Distinguished ones, so kill streaks are hardly a problem for me. Everyone thus far has hit the hammer in the head, but one thing people have overlooked is squad play. In a tight squad of a couple of medics and other mixed infantry, you can stay alive a lot longer and get far more kills than you would alone. You have to work for it though, since large squads will typically attract a lot of attention, and an observant commander may decide to bomb your ass to the stone age if you don't space out the formation.

i have about 1 hour as a lone wolf in 75 hours of play; i just don't seem to get these decent squads. i need to find these good squads you speak of. that definetely make sense.

oh, by the way, the amount of those two pins you have is pretty impressive.
