Can you play on a server for more than half an hour without getting kicked by punkbuster or losing the connection? I can't and it is pissing me off. After one of the patches my game wasn't working so I reinstalled it (Note: I got the game form EA downloader, remember?, before EA link came out) anyway after I did that I could play, but I would get kicked for a duplicate key by punkbuster. That is bullshit. I bought the game from you EA! So I downloaded a "fix" from EA customer support. I play for half an hour and I get kicked by punkbuster for the same bullshit problem. Worse is that occasionally I lose connection form a server when I have a low ping before the punkbuster shit happens. EA screwed up somewhere. How long can you play on a server before you lose connection or get kicked? Does anyone have the same problem?

i used the ea dlwder as well and this never has happened...call customer service

I couldn't help but noticed that you said you bought the game from EA Downloader. That should answer all your questions right there. There are ALWAYS problems with downloaded games. Get smart and buy the game instore. That way you'll always have it, and you won't be plagued with EA problems.
mine is bought from shelf and i'm plagued with random game freezes and disconnects for no apparent reason...

i bought mine from the D/L and i must just be lucky, i never get cdt, and only loose my connection when my IP screws up, if you are still getting this prob, do a total re-install, and make sure you remove all registry... a good program for that is Ccleaner, you can down load it from www.filehippo.com, also install with safe mode, do that by hitting F8 at start up and go to option safe mode with networking, should solve any probs, best of luck

You need to Uninstall BF2142 and any mods you have downloaded. EA will let you re-download them once you've deleted them. Get on EA Link, redownload your purchases, . If you are still getting disconnected check your internet connections, i had insane problems until i got rid of my idiot router, and norton security
damn i wish posts for 2142 were in a different color heh, anyways, i bought BF2 SF off ea downloader, then they switched to EA Link, one day i went to play SF and ALL OF MY MAPS WERE MISSING, i had no idea what to do and EA Link wouldnt let me re-download. so i said fuckit and deleted it, as soon as i did that, they let me re-download it.
