Rank? Score Per Minute? lol

I really would like to know how long such a training would last. Just being curious
it means that everytime that israel lost one soldier they had after my memory the enemy lost 6 men

What is the minimum training you can get before being sent to battle? Is it possible to be sent after only 3 months of boot camp?

No.  You have a specific job in the military that you must go to school for.  Even frontline infantry have a school.  And the length of our training varies with the service your in.  For instance, USMC Boot Camp is 13 weeks, while, if memory serves, USAF Boot camp is 6 weeks.

For the Marines, boot camp is about 3 months, then depending on your job, another 2 or 3 months of basic combat school.  If you work in aviation, you go to school for a long time to learn your job.  If you are in the infantry, after your 3 month basic combat school, you are sent right to your unit.  Now, depending on when you get there, that unit could be going to Iraq in a month or a year.  Luck of the draw.
After you are sent to your unit, do you continue to train for battle until going to Iraq?
That is all you do in the military, train of fight.  99% of the time in the military is spent training.
Unless you're U.S.A.F.  Then you just spend most of your time sweeping floors and pulling apart shitty aircraft...

Umm, just a question, but how can you call some of the most if not the most advanced aircraft in the world shitty?

You get basic training and AIT, which for most combat jobs is about 3 to 5 months total.  If you want, you can try out for selection for Rangers/SF/Seals/Whateva, but generally you need at least 2 years in for that.

After your 3 to 5 months training, you go to a unit, and you are considered a full soldier ready to fight/die for your country.

Just my 2 cents, but when an aircraft flies for about 3 hours and the mechanics spend 9 hours working on it.. thats pretty shitty.  My boss is a former U.S.A.F. aircraft mechanic and he even says they are shitty aircraft.

All personel within the armed forces are given a basic training (in Sweden) which is 20 weeks or something like that. Doesn't matter if you're a driver, cook, special ops or pilot. After the basic training you hardtrain more in you specified subject, like 1 week if youre a chaffeur or 24 months if youre an ranger

I love how everybody thinks that the USAF is just aircraft. I am in the USAF and I am a Combat Communications  Tech/Maintainer. I went to basic for 7 weeks, tech school for another year and combat school for a month. Sweeping floors? I dunno what the hell youre talking about man.

Hence why we are getting the JSF and the Raptor.

Yea my unit is next to where the B-2 bomber gets worked on and a few days ago I was outside working and when it took off it shook the ground and knocked over all of my equipment. Thats some fucking power.

Anyone care to comment/compare other induction programs? From what I understand of the UK/Aussie programs, they are a bit longer on basic?

Nothing prepares a soldier for battle more than real battle.  If this post if meant to say that they are sending poorly trained soldiers to Iraq then you obviously know nothing about the military.  There is a reason the United States has the best army in the world.  Our training is the best in the world and that is very apparent by the numbers of terrorists killed in Iraq.  The Iraqi army was the 4th largest army in the world and it took us 2 weeks to take it out...  I guarantee that they trained that military in Iraq too.  I have heard hundreds of times that the only thing that can prepare you for battle, is battle.  That makes sense.  But at least the US military does the best they can to prepare the soliders mentally and physically.

the planes are shitty for 1 reason - made by the lowest bidder ---- I loved riding in the Sea Knights and seeing duct tape (universal tool ) everywhere and having hydraulic fluid leak on me

I wonder how much training an American soldier gets before hi is shipped over to Iraq? Especially how long the training is.
Thanks!
They give you a pistol with no bullets, then tell you to go die for your country. I'd say...All of 5 minutes?

I have a question. Should I try to get into the Naval Academy and learn to fly? Or go to the Marines.

Well you do know that by going to the Naval Academy you can either Navy or Marines? I would say it depends on what kinda lifestyle you would prefer. Navy is much more lax than Marines but if you want action then go Marines. But if you go Navy then I would say just join AF. But I am a little bias.

If you go to the Naval Academy, you have to be in the top 15% of your class to be able to join the Marines.  They only take the best.  Also you need to be damned smart to fly, and even if your flying, there's no gaurantee it would be a jet.

Ya this is true.

I think in the Marine Corps you can fly the F-18 Hornet and eventually the JSF. I'd rather fly attack choppers though. I've called in close air support from a Marine unit in Afghanistan and the Cobras just mowed them down for us. I heart the MC.

Are you planning on joining the MC ML.Infidel?

Yeah, I'm in the Young Marines and torn between Armor, and flying Helicopters in the USMC.  I've also considered Infantry from time to time, but the only thing I'd really want to do would be a Scout/Sniper (SEREMAKER).
