My God, we suck so much at cricket (and every other sport).  Even though we invented it. Meh.

Will you please ask the Aussie cricket team if they will teach the English team how to play?  Thanks...

If only he knew that he was close to the record when he was on like 97 from 52 .

England sucks at every sport around pretty much. Hence why I gave up supporting this country in sport events.

gilly is a freakin legend imho...

yeah its hard to tell if he knew whether or not he was close to the record...surely he'd have an idea....

if that ball the english bowler bowled, wasnt wide, that would have most certainly gone for a boundry, or two runs aswell...he was chasing it...

but good effort by him and the australian team...

Crickek = ripoff of baseball even thoguh baseball is a newer sport.

Baseball>Cricket

(yes I have played cricket, you have to protect the little stick things that a "pitcher" is trying to knowk down while you defend em with a paddle. Points are scored by running back and forth.)

I don't get it.  Wasn't Gilchrist playing last year, when England won the ashes?  If he was, how come we won?

FAIL with a capital F. Cricket is by far the greater sport, there is far more skill involved. In baseball the aim is merely to smash the ball but in cricket there is perhaps a hundred different shots you can play with fast, swing and spin bowling to contend with.
