No award?, wtf?

Hey guys, i played a round yesterday with the intension of getting my Explosives Gallantry Silver, and i was chuffed at the end of the round except for the fact that my award never came. I thought perhaps it was just slow so i played afew more rounds and still no award. I also noticed that i was suffering from the "private" bug, where i was showing as private, however i still had all my unlocks, so i thought i was ok. Below is the proof that i got enough kills - 20 with RDX, and 2 explosive efficiency pins, and i checked i have over 50 explosive kills which is the other requirement for the award. Will i see this award?, or will i have to try all over again???

I know now, ive just never tried before, im usually medic or engi so dont use RDX much. It was quite a laugh loading up a FAV and driving up to anyone i saw and BOOM!!

It's just bad luck, try again on a different server or same server at another time. That is all you can do to my knowlege.

I could be wrong, but when you have the private bug and play rounds as a private, I am not sure whether it is logging those points. Again not sure on that but from what my friends and I have been noticing it doesn't seem to log those points.

Agreed, I was going for the gold and no dice, with 25+ kills plus the random apm mine kill's I got didnt suffice, acheived it when I wasnt going for it especially lol, but all you can do is try again, 20 explosive kills and two pins is nothing to turn your nose up at . TRY AGAIN!

Ya, it sux, but ive managed to do it within the past few hours, and got the badge now. Just got to remember now to always check you rank is showing or no points for you!

Comeon it is so easy to get, you don't need to use vechs to get it, they could be use much more efficiently instead of lame trick. *

Its not like i go around doing this all the time, it was one round and i thought it would be a quick and easy way to do it (which it would have been). I don't use explosives that often, so it was the first idea that i could think of, which was fun and didn't involve camping or spamming somewhere.

Anyways, ive got the award now, just gold to aim for....

Seems to me you have the proof to show 'someone' has done 20 kills wih RDX, but not the proof you did it. (i find it strange someone would make screenshots of rewards gained, so they could proof they didn't get them, that means you make screenshots of every overview screen you've got)

But if there are people who have vasyt libararies of screenshots, it would be nice if EA showed your name on the score overview screen. That way they could give the service to players to give them their rewards/ribbons etc. if they didn't register for one reason or the other.

if your a monkey, you can use the motion mines, in titan maps 1st, and when the defence goes on theres or yours go recon, your get well over the requirments(AGAIN) in no time at all

LOL, wtf are u on about???, u think i stole someones screen shots, then posted on here and made up some sort of story. You sir are a freak, why would i waste my time?. jeez, some people..........

For your information, i take quite alot of screenshots of things i feel ive done well, be it knife someone, best round scores etc etc, like im sure lots of ppl do.

I just wanted to vent on here and show my frustration, and perhaps make afew ppl aware who didn't already know that this does happen if your not careful. Thank you to everyone who listened and made suggestions.

Tell me how many people capture this screen? And then, how many times will it happen that someone captures this screen right before the rewards don't show up in the BFHQ?

But, and THAT was the real point of my post, i can understand your frustration. I hate it when i get screwed by the games like this (although i have been lucky enough never to have experienced it like this).
My point is that EA should have a service that could give you the rewards when you prove that you've got them. A method of making this less disputable is by putting the player name or a code on this screen, so EA could verify things.

same fucking thing happened to me, just finished a round with 22 kills on ATX and RDX, did not shoot my gun once.

EDIT:
Aha! A friend just told me whenever an APX kill registers as "you [killed] dude" instead of "you [APX Mine] dude", then you don't get credit for an explosives kill.

Not sure why it sometimes registers as [killed] though.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up, i apologies for having a go at you.

As i said before, i like to capture screens when i have done better than i normally have in some way, like getting 20 RDX kills, because i like to play this game in a team, so i never get the opportunity to go crazy with explosives. And when you get an award in game it normally shows up in game, so when it didn't i also wanted the screen as proof that i actually did it, so i could vent on here!.

Anyways, lesson learnt, i just need to keep cracking at the 20 kills, i keep getting around 16-18 each round ive tried, which is frustrating! lol.
