Hmm, sensible, but no. I mean, it's not the answer I'm looking for. I suppose it could have any multitude of answers...

The answer that the teacher acknowledged in first grade was a river... just forget that one, it's too broad.

She was shot.

The six bodies one- they are all buried, just listed a hella lot. If you add them up, you just said two so-on-and-so-forth's over and over.

These aren't really hard.

1. Which month of the year lasts the longest?SOLVED October(daylights saving)

2. One day, while I was walking down the street, I met my uncle by chance. I had never met him before or
seen a photograph, but recognized him immediatly. How is this possible?SOLVED
He's my dad's twin.

3.  A scientist claims to have invented a unique machine that allows him to dissappear for an hour and
reappear at the same spot one hour later. He hasn't tried it but is eager to do so. Why should you tell him
    not to?

4. Which plant name can be made from these letters without using any of them twice? T O W A R

5. Using all of these only once, form the name of the name of an animal.  a h e t d u l e

TheLostOne wrote:

Here you go:

1.There are two lengths of rope.
Each one can burn in exactly one hour.
They are not necessarily of the same length or width as each other.
They also are not of uniform width (may be wider in middle than on the end), thus burning half of the rope is not necessarily 1/2 hour.

By burning the ropes, how do you measure exactly 45 minutes worth of time?

2.There are four man standing in front of a firing-squad. Two of them (nr.1 & 3) wear a black hat and two of them (nr.2 & 4) wear a white hat. They are all facing the same direction and between nr.3 and nr.4 stands a brick wall (see picture). So nr.1 can see nr.2 & 3, nr.2 sees nr.3, nr.3 sees only the wall and nr.4 doesn't see a thing. The men know that there are two white and two black hats.
The commander of the firing-squad is willing to let the men go if one of them can say what color hat he is wearing. The men are not allowed to talk. The only thing they may say is "I'm wearing a white/black hat". If one of the men knows which hat he is wearing he must tell it and all men will be free.
Which man knows 100% sure what color hat he's wearing?

3.Easy one:
If you are in a dark room with a candle, a wood stove and a gas lamp. You only have one match, so what do you light first?

4.Would you rather a crocodile attack you or an alligator?

5.Classic
As I was going to St. Ives,
I met a man with seven wives.
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits.
Kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

6.Who is your father's only son's brother's uncle's wife's daughter's brother's father's son?
These are the ones that are left in our riddle thread. I'll let lost edit his own riddles for solutions.
Just to bring it into view, were these the ones?

3 (Splinter's) - Because if he is in the literal interpretation of the SAME spot, in the aspects of position in space and not on the earth, he would find himself 1/24th of the way around the earth from where he started and possibly a few hundred miles N/S of that spot. (Revolutions around the sun and rotations of the Earth.)

3 (LostOne) - Either the gas lamp or the candle, you could light the other two with the lit one.
4 (LostOne) - I'd rather the crocodile attacks an alligator, but I don't know about you.
5 (LostOne) - 1, just because you're going and met him, doesn't mean he's going too.
6 (LostOne) - Doesn't exist... You are your father's only son, you can't have a brother.

Check my other ones, and would he find himself in the core of the earth, or in space, depending on where he was and which way the earth would travel in relation to that spot.

Yep, he would end up approx. 45,000 miles away from Earth in the airless void.

I'm saying that you got LostOne's riddles right (4-6), but you'll need to wait on his call.
EDIT- Oh, and your #3 guess is wrong.

EDIT: For LostOne's #2, guy 2 should guess. If guy1 behind him doesn't say anything, it means that he and guy3 have different colored hats. So he would then say the opposite color of the hat on guy3.

Only two? Bare literal interpretation of that allows you more than two lol, so I say three dimes to start.

dont know if this has been posted before, but...

1 a man is driving in his car, and when hte music stops, he intentionally drives off a cliff.
2 when the music stopped, he died. who is he.
3 if you take four 9s, 9 9 9 9, and fill in mathematical symbols, +,-,*,/, how can you get 100?
4 a man recieves a human arm in the mail. he inspects it, then he sends it to another man, who also inspects it, then takes it in the woods and burns it. why? karma for this one.
