It matbe already has been posted here, but I was wondering how the points for commanders are awarded. I still haven't got 30 points in a round as commander. though I get around 100 commander bonusscore. Does anyone know how to get points as commander easily
Keep the round going, but without losing. Winning 200-0 doesnt help.
The way to get point is simple.
You have 2 choices : - play commander in a server almost empty like 12 players in a 64 player server
- play in a server still almost empty but with the option "no vehicles mode" and kill a lot of people... very easy...
Advices to make point as commander : give orders to squad if they do what you order +1
use the scan and point enemies : if they are kill +1 for each target killed
Good luck

if it's anything like bf2, it is simply everyone's (on your team) score totaled up divided by the number of players on your team. that's it. however, helping out your team as much as possible keeps you from getting mutiny'd and helps them do better, thus making your score rise.
Remember Me As A Time Of Day
Thank you all for your ideas, I will try that sometimes
From BF2142Fever.com:
"For each point a member of your team gets during a round, you get that point divided through the number of people in your team. So as an example, if someone gets 1 point and your team has 10 people, you get 0.1 score added. So if everyone of your team gets 1 score, you get 1 score as well."
Some things that make it easier to get more commander points in a round (I'm not talking about bonus points from orders):
1. Try to join a server with no team damage. No tks and team damage translate into more points for your team, which means more points for you as commander.
2. In titan mode delay the destruction of your titan as well as the enemy titan (by defending and taking silos). The longer the round goes the more points you get. Also, in Titan mode, you want to join a server with as many people as possible. The more people in the game the better the titans will be defended which means the titans will have to be destroyed via silos, which takes a long time.
3. In conquest mode try to find a server that is playing a 64 player map but only has 10-20 people in it. Less people means less tickets being drained and the rounds last longer. Certain conquest maps which are called "assault" (Minsk, Cerbere Landing, Fall of Berlin, Camp Gibraltar and Suez Canal) are best because as long as the attackers have at least one base besides there uncap(s) there is no ticket drain.

Everyone seems to fail to understand that longer rounds doesn't equal higher score. 6 vs 6 will still get the same max possible score as 32 vs 32, it's just that you're probably going to get the points faster doing 10 minute rounds in a 62/64 player server than doing one 45 minute round on a 12/64 server. Average score is 30pts in a ticket bleeding round. 50~100 w/o ticket bleeding.
Pick the unfair maps, such as cerebe landing, fall of berlin, etc. the close quarters and constant killing around the objective points will get more commander points.

Conquest: You get bonus points when your team kills something you spot, or in ur uav range. You also get a bonus when you drop a supply crate and it helps to heal/resupply.

I got both basic commander badges in a near full server (30/32 or 42/48)
You gains points faster and of course, help your team mate by unveiling enemy trying to cap a post undefended, sending orders, etc.
Getting kills in with orbital strikes and killing recon messing in your bases helps also!
P.S.: what the +1 commander bonus does????
it gives you extra points after the roundthefousteph wrote:
