If you want him banned, report him. This is a pretty tasteless thing to post on December 7th of all dates. In my opinion, he is asking for the ban. It's pretty sad that this thread has been allowed to grow to 5 pages and beyond. The whole point of creating this thread was to troll and spark a flame war.
Are there any threads made that don't have that point? "bush this, bush that, America is evil" Too many stupid things to name, and they haven't even pointed out their countries harsh background and present...

I think it's safe to say that what Bubbalo suggested with this thread is far from being liberal.  It was both idiotic and hateful.

Maybe there are some people who consider themselves liberal that agree with him, but they're using the wrong term to describe themselves.

They're as liberal as Fred Phelps is Christian.
There is a difference between the dictionary definition of Liberal and what I like to call the "Forum (or Internet) Liberal". The internet liberal, simply put, is an idiot. They have no clue how the real world works (usually because they are very young) and make ridiculous one-sided claims. Other internet liberals then rally in support. There are plenty of things I simply disagree with here, but that's not to say such statements are necessarily stupid. However, Internet Liberals have said some things on this forum that are literally the stupidest things I have ever read. The driving force behind every Internet Liberal is the hatred of the US. These threads come in many flavors, some of them are more veiled than others. They have ingrained in their minds "Hey, I'm liberal because I hate Bush" so they figure they should always stick to the same side in any debate, regardless of how ridiculous of a claim they would need to make. It's as if they're not thinking for themselves, but simply acting a part in a play.
And did you think for yourself before saying all this BS?  You are the most arrogant person in this forum.  Internet Liberal?  Wtf is that?  Write a novel, you have quite an imagination.  I don't agree with this thread but I completely disagree with your blah blah blah blah BS about people hating America.  Nobody here hates America, so stop the arrogant posts against persons who don't think like you or persons who think.
I assure you, many people here hate America. Do I really need to dig up hundreds of old threads? I didn't think so. Hatred of America, whether it be its policies, people, or government, is the driving force of this entire forum.

I read Pollux' description and thought it was picture perfect & right on the money.
P.S. I notice the hatred of America all the time. You may think that criticizing everything America does and calling it evil and stupid isn't hate, but you're just getting technical there.

Let's not blame one side or another for this horribly misguided viewpoint.  Instead, let's all agree that what was stated by him was wrong, and then move on.
Well, by this post it seems you suggest we forget, almost like people have forgotten about 9/11 and what it did to the US, and what it still means.  Are you hoping, that by holding hands and agreeing with each other, peace will come about in this thread? I think not. We need to eat someone alive, before they eat us alive.
Dude, I'm pretty sure Bubbalo isn't a terrorist.  You're acting like this is some war here.  This is just a freakin' forum.

I understand where you're coming from, but I'm just trying to keep things somewhat rational here.  Yet, in a weird sort of way, the crowd psychology taking place right here in this thread is part of what saddened me about 9/11.

It was bad enough that 3,000 innocent people died because of some group of extremist assholes, but when we make the mistake of becoming hawks with unlimited hate over all this, we draw nearer to what we despise.

We have to be rational in dealing with terrorists, and by extension, we must be rational in the face of nonsense being spouted by an extremist of a less violent nature.  Bubbalo has just proven how little we can take seriously from his posts.  Therefore, getting bent out of shape over it is almost as ridiculous as what he suggested.

Like I said, we should forget him, not the people he mocks.  Have you forgotten what our soldiers are fighting for?  Do you think I have?  Good, then don't ask me.

The only thing that we risk being eaten alive on is our political correctness vs. the demands of Wahhabism.  That is something we can agree on, which is why the torture thing doesn't bother me as much as it does some others.  We're having to do a few less moral things to accomplish our goal in fighting terror, but it's nothing compared to the actions of our enemies.

This thread is to honour those courageous heroes who fight in opposition to the US occupation of Iraq and the rest of the Middle East, sacrificing their own lives to do so.  I'll start with a little roll of honour, which we can add to as we progress:

Mohammed Atta
Ramzi Binalshibh
Ziad Jarrah
Zacarias Moussaoui
Abdul Rahman Yasin

RIP.
RIP to you to Bubbalo from BF2s
