This is just a quick summary of what happened at the AU server meeting tonight. This was between the admins so dont feel left out. Various topics were raised and discussed, and I have compiled a report.

BF2s.com/AussieClans.com Server Admin Meeting

Date:
Wednesday 6th December, 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Present:
Smokey, R3v4n, Max, Jestar and Phuc. (Absent: Ty)

Topics and their outcomes:
1. Carrier rape, should it be allowed?
Raping is not allowed. Kit weapons only.

2. Language filter taken off altogether?
Limited cursing is ok, although continued abusive behaviour (racist, continued personal attacks) will be cracked down on.

3. 16 player map day?
Yes, see Mod arrangement below.

4. Mod day/which mod?
Yes, see Mod arrangement below.

5. SF/EF/AF day/which day?
Yes, see Mod arrangement below.

6. Remove Mashtuur from rotation?
Done, see new maplist below.

8. Jester Resigning as Admin

9. Head Admins from BF2s & Aussie Clans
We have appointed head admins from both bf2s.com and aussieclans.com. They are R3v4n and Maxxie. Congrats people.

10. Replacing Dragon Valley
Done, see maplist below.

11. Rounds drop from 3 to 2
We have dropped the rounds per map from 3 to 2, so we arent stuck on the same map all night.

Mod arrangement:
Monday Selected Mod (Monday Mod Madness) or 16 player Map day. Will change every second week.
Tuesday Vanilla
Wednesday SF
Thursday Vanilla
Friday Vanilla (Friday Night Fights)
Saturday SF
Sunday Vanilla

Maplist:
Wake Island, 64
Gulf of Oman, 32 <--- Change
FuShe Pass, 32
Sharqi Peninsula, 64
Dauqing Oilfields, 32 <--- Change
Strike at Karkand, 32
Road to Jalalabad, 64

Maplist changes will take effect tomorrow, whilst Mod days will commence Sunday with Vanilla. R3v4n will update the announcement section with the mod that will be in use.

Now the server has been fine tuned, I hope to see some more of everyone in game having some fun.

Well it really is a toss up between running 32player and 16player SF maps. We arent to sure how SF would be recieved by the community, so we were thinking of running 16player SF maps to see if we could draw numbers. But we are open to suggestions...

The server already runs 2 rounds per map.

Ty started the second push for an AU server (after THA).

Only difference is Ty's campaign sort of worked because about that time Maxxxie had an available server.
