Ok, this is really started to piss me off. Every time I get disconnected or get an error from the server or something, the next time I load my video settings go automaticly to default for me (which is all low). Its really annoying since I can run on all high 6x AA 1280x1024 with a decent frame rate. My resolution does change though, and the video settings in game say im running at all high even though it plays at all low.


Well anyway.....comments?

delete the battlefield 2 folder in your doccuments

load up battlefield recover the account info

do ya video and audio

shud solve the problem

ive done that but it seems to be happening again, any other ideas?

battlefield 2 adjust the settings that are optimal for your system that produce the best frame rate

in everyones case that is low

just set the res that u want with the highets refresh rate as the lower the refresh rate means more headaches (believe it or not)

as i said try the res no other settings see if it works

also you may have accidently edited the video.con file in battlefield 2 install directory in which case it will reset the video each time as bf2 reads the video con file everytime you load up bf2 or w/e

uh..
1. my monitor is made for 60 hz
2. bf2 is too old to recognize that my x1950pro is superior to its meaningless video settings
3. have never touched that shit.
