This morning we went to Turku to give birth to our son. He never turned around so they were forced to make a Caesarean section. We arrived at the Turku University Hospital 7.00 AM Finnish time and they started the preparations.
At 8 AM they took my GF in to the operation room and gave her the required anaesthetic for the operation.
Then we waited about 15 minutes, and they started to cut!!!
At 8.32 I heard the wonderful crying voice of the newborn baby, and the feeling was more than terrific, had a couple of tears in my eyes there!!!
After that I went with a nurse to another room where i got to give the newborn Uber baby a bath!!!
Then we dressed the baby in clothes and tucked him in blankets and I got the chance to sit with him meanwhile they sew my girlfriend´s wound.
At this moment I saw the small blue eyes for the first time when he was watching the weird place he had came to!!!
A half hour later they brought me my girlfriend, I handed over the baby to her for the first time and after a couple of minutes when the most emotional minutes had past, a nurse brought us apple juice in champagne glasses to toast with.
This my friends is one of the happiest moments in my life!!!!
I´m now at home eating and smoking, and after that I will return to the hospital and spend the rest of the day there!!!
And later this evening, me and the boys will have big party to celebrate the birth of this child!!!!
