a friend, a warrior, a decent human being.  A soldier.  A soldier who was always there for his comrades through thick and thin.  On November 25th, SSG Morris was killed by an IED.  SSG Morris and I served in the same platoon throughout the entire duration of OIF 2 and, as some of you Ive told, was redeployed again with the same company. He died and another one my comrades was wounded in the attack.  Shit like this makes me wanna throw everything away and go back to Iraq as soon as possible.  He was a great guy who never made an enemy and was on his way to becoming a minister. I post here because I dont really want this falling under junk.  Im not much for memorials so I guess Ill leave it at that.

this is the tragedy of war. this is what makes me truly sad. when people lose people they know, it really hits home. fuck, sorry man.

the media turns deaths into statistics and it's disgusting. the lives of every dead soldier should be celebrated instead of being turned into propaganda.

Things like this keep leading me to believe that no one has a right to judge the war on iraq besides the men and women who lived through or died in Iraq.

I don't take a stance on the war, and I won't until I have the courage to gear up and go over there.

May he and all of the other troops lost rest in peace, and all the best hopes to the families of the troops, the troops themselves abroad, and If we all could we'd wish away the pain of losing a family member or friend.

REST IN PEACE and infinite respect.

Pray for force shields. The Israeli 'flak' system won't be enough.

I am thankful our country has men like him giving their sacrifices, their accomplishments, their service to our nation.

And because of the respect I have for men like him and the difficult duty they have been assigned, some posters on this site should be thankful that I can't reach through my monitor and beat their asses when they talk smack about our soldiers.
