Seems like the US is not the only one having trouble with their new leaderships.

"A government was established two years ago with the support of the U.N. to serve as a transitional body to help Somalia emerge from anarchy. But the leadership, which includes some warlords linked to the violence of the past, wields no real power outside the western city of Baidoa."

Yeah, I've heard that some of the ethical body of the UN (the human rights section) are made up of those from countries who have horrible human rights violations.

But that doesn't mean their actions are automatically discounted or biased.

The overall effort of the UN is amazing and worthy of every effort to sustain it. But being a world body, it's destined for trouble.
