oh i dunno about a 6100 to be honest, if im not mistaken 6100s are onboard graphics, which means a NO GO for bf2

Maybe more RAM could help.

im going to have to say get a graphics card that will fix it, make sure you check to see if bf2 can support the card by going here: http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/ … atures.jsp

Play it on single player, or Create Local.
Does it still lag?
If so, problem is in the hardware you've listed above.
If not, problem is in your internet connection.  i.e. provider, router, ethernet card.

Your signup date suggests you've been around for a while, so I won't ask you to tell us your ping on certain servers, you probably know how to select ones with low ping.  So is this a new rig?

I'm not exactly a computing genius, but this dude wrote a genius thread. I did virtually everything he said. My pings are like, 7, on average, now!

heres some help for ya

CPU: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cpu
Northbridge: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northbridg … mputing%29
RAM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random_access_memory
GPU(aka videocard): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPU

im just nice and trying to help you out here

also when you go to put your newer videocard in, dont forget to disable the onbaord graphics
