It's hard to believe a mother of 9 and grandmother of 41 would do such a thing, but even harder to shallow is that a group would step up and claim responcibility for such a blatantly evil act.
Hamas needs to stop this nonsense or we should bomb them.

Is this any way to conduct politics?
Should we give the party of suicide bombers anything?

Do not discuss the Israel/Palestinian issue, the question is, is suicide bombing a legitimate tactic in the world of politics? Should we allow a group that does to exist?

Maybe. It's complicated. It's going to happen, better there be a semi-responsible elected group to be held accountable for these things than just a bunch of terrorist nutters, which in any climate of oppression are bound to exist, especially when they have that many kids.

The 'maybe' was to the 'Should we allow a group that does [suicide bombing] to exist?', not to the 'is suicide bombing a legitimate tactic in the world of politics?', which it isn't, perhaps in guerilla warfare but not as straight out terrorism. No form of terrorism is a legitimate tactic.

Suicide bombing against military targets? Well, put it this way:

When Israel launches artillery fire, do their intended targets have time to react? Not really.
When Israel launches artillery fire, do they risk civilian casualties too? Most definately.
When Israel launches artillery fire, do they use the element of suprise? More often than not.

So IMO there is no question of the military validity of the tactic. But asking about the validity of any military tactic in the context of a political tactic is always going to come up with the answer "using violence to change opinion is wrong". The question is the same as me asking: Is 30 minutes of shelling civilian targets because there were militants nearby the day before a valid political tactic?

I was reading an article on this this morning. Your article failed to mention how many members of her family have been lost and houses have been blown up by the Israeli's.

They have been invaded and suppressed by a small country with the backing of the largest military supper power on earth. Israel gets Billions of military hardware handed to it by the US for no other reason than 'a bunch of Americans immigrated there'. When up against such a overwhelming force people resort to desperate measures. If say Hitler had been successful in taking over Europe and the world we might all be blowing ourselves up. The reason that we find this kind of action so hard to comprehend, is because we have never been remotely near to the situation these people are in.

Israel Indiscriminately bombs civilian Areas with its donated military might.
Hams Indiscriminately bombs civilian Areas with its donated human delivery device.

Its the action of one blowing oneself up that is the only difference and that is explained by pure desperation. Do you think the Israeli people sitting in their air conditioned condos on land stolen and given to them for free fully appreciate the plight of people living in slums in poverty?

I have been beating my head against the wall trying to convey that point. They know it, but if they admit it, it would totally wipe out all reasoning and statistics they have for hating Israel and calling them terrorists.
