What do u put ur videos setting to guys to get a good game in options,do you set everything to low or just a couple of things and leave the rest at medium.

what kind of graphics card do you have
every thing on high inc lighting etc runnign a rez of 1280 x1024 witch you set by adding "+szx 1280 +szy 1024" to the camand line on the start up exe
iv got a 7900GTO (thats a 7900GT over clocked at the factory )run on a NV4 chip set with a 4800x2 duel core 2 gig of ram on a DVi LCD 19" runns between 75 (monitor locked at 75) and 40 depending how mutch is happning on screen
thats said ran the same with my 7800GT with less fps not that the human eye can tell :p
(thinkign of SLi,ing it to get a stedy 100 fps )
I think when you first fire the game up it picks the settings it feels are best for you rig ( auto detects ) so what ever its at as defalt is pritty close to what you can run
