Is there any way to get rid of an unlock that you got and switch it out for another one? Or do have to get another unlock?
once you unlocked a weapon it thats it its with you for life...
nope, too bad.
you have to get a new unlock. if you could switch them around, then that would defeat the purpose of unlocking them.

Once you have choosen a gun in BF2, you are stuck with it.
I suggest in the future that you test the unlocks out first. There is a mod out for BF2 that lets you test the guns or you can grab a kit from a dead player and test it. I am not sure where the mod is, but you can search the past forums for it.

Yeah, it'd be nice if you could use unlocks in singleplayer like you could with previous version edits. i know i would have passed on unlocking certain things..like the mg36, l85a..but then, gotta have the g36e.
You only need 1644 points for your next rank, so you'll have a chance to pick a different one in no time.

Yes there is a way, it's called Master Sergeant when you don't need anymore unlocks.
