You should enable it to AGP though. It doesn't change anything on the card, it simply changes the bus that the card is in to go faster, it's perfectly safe.spud924 wrote:

Yeah, sorry it took me so long, I was havin some Burger King. Spud has confirmed to me that this option does exist on PCI-e BIOS, so it should work for you too if it hasn't already enabled PCI-e in your BIOS.King_County_Downy wrote:

isnt AGP slower than PCI-E though? im pretty sure it is and changing a PCI-e card to speed of a AGP port, wouldn't that be going the wrong direction i would want to go?_j5689_ wrote:

My old pc had the same issue in the bios's defaults, it was set to pci, i changed it to agp anyway and found no visual/performance gains.

What setting did you have the textures on? High textures is where you're going to notice the most difference. I changed it and it affects ALL of my games, even Diablo 2 has noticeably better looking textures.ssonrats wrote:
