Will the Democrats attach Tax Increases to the Rich (or appeal the Bush Tax decreases in 2001 and 2003), to the next Iraq Appropriation's Bill in March of 2007?
The money that we are spending on Iraq, about $3 Billion a week, is not counted towards our deficit. Democrats will probabaly attach an amendment that will increase taxes to pay for the war in the bill to pay for the war.
So when the Democrats do this, will President Bush sign it? Effectively raising taxes like his father did in 1992?
