FOUR MONTHS OF GAZA DEATHS
Total: 247 fatalities
155 civilian deaths

Israeli forces have made regular incursions into Gaza and the West Bank following the capture of an Israeli soldier, Cpl Gilad Shalit, in a cross-border raid by Palestinian militants on 25 June. About 400 Palestinians, many of them civilians, have been killed in the attacks.
Serge: what's the point here?  Israel sucks?  Couldn't find another thread to add this too?

Huh?  I bet 247 people in the US alone were killed by some horrible act of violence since June, and if you include the rest of the world, the number would be very very very high.
There is a big difference between the actions of individuals and the actions of states. State sponsored slaughter is wrong. If you add to the number directly killed by Israel the number of Palestians who have died as an indirect result of Israeli occupation and oppression, that number will also be much higher.
Wrong.  Just look at Africa.
What's wrong? There is a difference between actions of individuals and states. There would also be fewer Palestinians being indirectly killed if there was no Israeli occupation or oppression of them. Which of those statements is wrong?

Why look at Africa? How is that related? Lots of people die in Africa, yes. It's a very different situation though, perhaps it wouldn't be if Israel was in Uganda.

When an individual straps explosives to their body, run into a coffee house, then blow themselves up, that is an individual act right?  But when the explosives are paid for by states, and their families are given money by states, that is state sponsored right?

Is it a state sponsored slaughter or a reaction to the failure of diplomacy?  In other words, what if the Hamas gave up the two soldiers?

Right...not the point.  You're opinion is that Israel shouldn't be there ever.  Always back to that.  I think we get the point by now.

Im honestly getting tired of this I vs. P crap.
I do not understand why those 247 deaths are more important than that same amount of African people dieing of hunger every week.

I am at the point of closing this topic, as it has been done over and over and over again, and frankly, I see only a few people that care (untill they or their families get hit by some of these 'civilians').
Bernadictus,

I posted several threads about the Darfur shit.  But people didn't get interested.
I think you can disagree with the viewpoints some of us express in this forum, but you can't tell us which topics are allowed, as long as we respect the rules.
You just closed Cam's thread because you are tired of people talking about Israel.
