I think most of us know that in order to have an unbiased and in depth knowledge of daily events, we should get our news from multiple sources (not just watch CNN or Fox, as a lot of people do...)

But, if you were going to be stranded on a deserted island, and you could only watch one news program every night, which program/cable news channel would it be?

The naked news must be in Australia only.

Also, multiple choose would be good for the poll, since I have CNN and FOX as my leaders in world news. Slashdot for IT related news.

I never watch US television news.

EDIT: I take that back. I sometimes watch NewsHour with Jim Lehrer. Generally US news in has too much in the way of "talking head" shows. After 10 minutes of such gab-fests I want to poke a screwdriver into my ears.

It would make more sense to just put "I don't watch the news" as an option.

I don't watch the news.You don't know everyone's situation.Some might have little time to spare,some might not own a TV.
