RTFA, it was only 30 minutes after the ID check took effect. He was no doubt inside the library before 11pm.

#1 he could have left the library when told too.
#2 he could have obeyed the Police

These are two ways I can think of that would have prevented the moron from getting tassed.  It was HIS CHOICES that caused all of this.  The police didn't just happen to randomly tasse this idiot, it took effort on his part.

I suggest that anyone who disagrees with the way the Police handled this to go to a library and create such a disturbance that the police are called and then resist arrest.  - Then you will see first hand all the trouble you have to go through to get tassed and what a jack-ass the guy had to be to get tassed. 

I only wish that police could do more to stupid people, if we would only allow natural selection's full potential to be utilized.  Damn all those warning labels on power tools!!!!

You don't tase people for being disobedient. Tasers are substitutes for bullets and batons. You don't beat, shoot or electrocute someone because you think they're being a punk ass.

Police DO tase people for being disobedient.  If they didn't police would be pretty damn useless.

Try not pulling over next time a police follows you with his lights on..... Be Disobedient.

Oh I'm liberal now? I love how you can determine that out of this small thing. I'm just not a pussy who accepts people using force over trivial bullshit. There are varying degrees of disobedient, my simply minded friend. If you don't pull over, you ensue a chase. If you don't leave a library because you don't have an I.D card, that's totally different. What if it was a kid in middle school? High school even? Shit, if we're tasing kids over Library I.Ds then we're pretty much allowing cops to tase over anything. If you find that acceptable, you're one programmed piece of work.
