Second, while I agree that our major cities continue to be at risk of being attacked, I don't think more warfare or staying in Iraq are going to aid in us in any way when it comes to defending against an attack.

Build a wall along the whole southern border.
Place armed troops where needed.
More effectively arm the border patrol so they have some teeth.
The reality is that a terrorist group only has to get it right once for a tragedy to occur. Our national security has to be right every time to prevent it, which is impossible. Realistically, I think we have to hit the terrorists where they're at, so they have less chance of coming here.
Globally USA because we have global capabilities, an idiot in office, and the ability to enforce our will upon every developing country. To all of these people saying that there have been less terrorist attacks after 9/11 you have all seem to have forgoten the other countries that have been attacked like Indonesia, Spain, and England. Indonesia and Spain have been bombed twice but according to you there have been less attacks?
