This question relates to world politics not religion. The topic is about a particular country not an entire religion which spans the globe, oh how you love to generalize. Newsflash: Iran is populated with Persians, not Arabs, and did not take part in the 6 days war. They did in fact arm and fund the recent Hezbollah attack on Israel, which could not be effectively repelled by Israel and led to the resignation of some their army's top brass. They also held their own for 10 years against the US armed and funded Saddam regime of Iraq. As such they represent a real threat but one which I reckon is being totally overplayed. Certainly with respect to an attack on the US. Them attacking the US meaningfully is fantasyland stuff. Remember the Iraq fiasco? Let Israel and Iran duke it out.Parker wrote:
