If it requires a license, then you need the license . Duh.

Be carefull with WMV files. ESPECIALLY those that "requires a license". If you cannot play the content without it downloading stuff to your PC, DONT play it ! I cannot stress this enough. WMV files can point you (almost like te FM4 in the old days) to a "license" that is in fact a lot of shit, virus, trojans etc. "hackers" (actually more like hijackers) will often send you weird files like "watch this funny video", "see britanny spears naked", or shit like that hoping you will run a file that will contain macros that will enable them to do weird shit with your PC. It ranges from harmless (in the sense that you may have some problems with the PC, but it WILL run), to annoying (hijacking your browser so you can only surf to one site that they get paid for you going to), and to downright dangerous (stealing your keys for netbanking or similar).
If you have a WMV file that needs a license, or ANY OTHER attachment for that matter, DO NOT OPEN IT unless you're VERY sure about the source (ie downloaded it yourself from a vendor, or respectable site), and if you get one from your friends, call and ask them if they sent you this BEFORE opening it. Their adressbooks might have been compromised by spamlist generators or worse.
