BF2S Forums do you judge people by their ranks?

what does it matter, it seems as BF2 gets older, people are judging others more and more, jsut play the game.

If theres a low rank in my heli or jet, I DON'T CARE, if he misses all his T.V's i don't care, because ill probally miss it too or i have missed that before, and im a 1st sarg.

Both guns have unfair advantage over other guns . G36 doesnt have kick , PKM is too accurate & deals too masive damage . DICE DID NOT BALANCED THIS GUNS , THEY ARE OVERPOWERED AND SHOULD BE FIXED .
If I get revived with this guns ( yes , I never pick them myself ) I finish like 5-1 or 10-1 unless I get raped by vehicle .
Real skill in my opinion means the ability to deal with more powerfull guns using less powerfull ( M16 over G36  , M249 over PKM on long range & so on) .

AWP requires skill. Take a "raping" from a random pubbing AWPwer. Take a raping from a CAL-M awper. You'll beg for the pubber.

I don't judge people according to rank, but if I see people with high ranks, I instinctively want to kill them.

I judge them on rank at first.It's all I really have to go on until I can see how they actually play.The ranking system was sorta designed so you know the experienced players that way.Although I have been surprised quite often too.

I realize many people have different accounts but unfortunately rank does seem to play a factor the majority of the time.Sometimes high ranking players like generals are selfish point whoring pricks who will TK you in an instant for a vehicle or just hog one the entire round.

Ranks ARE important, at least they show your dedication to the game, if not your skill...

Rank isn't a true badge of the players ability, but its a bloody good guide.
If one team has alot of high ranked player compared to the other 90% of the time that team will win.
From my experience anyway.

If a general is using a '36e over an ak101 or worse. 47. - then he will be judged a nub who hasn't learnt the full potential of the game after 1000's of hours. still.

If your not playing a city map, the better accuracy of the G36 is alot more usful then the higher dmg and HSs of the AKs. How can you judge someone on there choice of weapon? If there good with it, then there good with it and if there good then they can't be a noob. I'd much rather someone good with the PKM using it, in my squad then him being fashionable with the 101 which he couldn't use properly.

By your statement you should only use your pistol. Or the MP5. Because anything else is like chetaing with a skilless gun and makes you a noob. Your just an idiot for not using what you can. If you think the SAW/M16 is better, then thats your oppinion and your entitle to it. But if you think the PKM/G36E is better and you choose not to use them, then its only your lose because no one else cares.

Put it this way, if your on a team full of 2 stars an majors an the other team is full of first sergents an below who do you think will win?
