What the hell is this gun?

I picked it up from a guy that I killed while playing Tunis Harbor. I remind you that I wasn't playing any mod, its a normal game. I was VERY confused about what the hell was going on. So, I killed an enemy to see what weapon it was and it says that the gun is SCAR-11... Take a look

EDIT: The thing looks like crap IMO... And it takes up too much of the screen.

I agree. Besides being VERY confused at the time, I was thinking it is covering my right flank way too much.

I have found the download link in the forums.
Goto search and type in 'localization' and select BF2142 Forum. You will find the post that is made by the guy who provided the localization file.

My experience with the DECORATED SCAR-11 shows me that it is the exact same gun with different look.

yeah i love this thing... when im not using my baur and im EU.. this rifle is awesome.. basically it's the same as the scar.. but it sounds awesome.. and the iron sights are like 111110000000x better.. i really don't notice the screen thing either..

Yeah I nicked it from people a couple of times too. I don't think the "Best Buy" skin is any good though, it dosn't have any advantage over the regular Scar-11, it is just bigger and thus takes more of your screen away.
