I just had this happen tonight when I was playing. I was playing on Sharqi and my team (the MEC) steamrolled the USMC. We literally took the whole town in less than 10 minutes. They never took back a spawn point that we captured. I thought that it was ugly, and I was on the winning side.
So we've got all of the spawn points...there are only two guys left alive...and the admin asks if we want to switch to a vehicle map. All kinds of people are hitting Page Down, which (as the admin apparently didn't know) makes you say "Negative" or something to that effect. Well, I find one of the living guys standing on top of the TV station trying to snipe, but I sniped him first. The rest of my squad is hunting the final guy before we get the win and the console message says "Switching to vehicle map!!!!!" and, as I later found out from my housemate and squad member, everyone got disconnected while my squad was SHOOTING AT THE LAST GUY! It was the lamest thing ever.
Hey all of you admins out there...non-admins are people too. Respect them and don't end a round 20 seconds early because you feel the need to start whoring a tank or jet...and maybe they will respect you, too.
And like everyone else here, I have been kicked and banned for crazy stuff. I used to love playing in the 4 Horseman server because they always had good competition, then out of nowhere one day, I got banned. I literally to this day have NO idea why I was banned. That's my only ban (and I only have 10 kicks in 150 hours a couple for pings, one for shooting people on what the admin decided was now going to be a knife and pistol server and other little things like that. None for TK's.).
Good admins rock. Bad admins make BF2 horrible. EA should have a specific way to report abusive admins. That would be a good thing.
