hi guys my ea downloader updated yesterday and has totally changed . i dont know if this has to do with bf2 but now when i start bf2 it goes straight to installation menu and does nothing after that?

i tried to uninstall bf2 and that didnt work nor SF . i managed to uninst POE2 and several other programs , so that part is working .

i can start bf2 from a desktop short cut i made but it ctds on selecting a server ! single player works ok

do you think this has to do with the new EA d/loader ?

bf2 was fine the day before ?

my system is

AMD 64 X2 4200
KN9N NEO-V
2 GIG RAM
7600GT 256MB GFX CARD
bios version current 1.03 version for that mobo

any tips or ideas much appreciated

That's weird but I was having a problem with my EA downloaded too. I can even connect to EA's download server. I haven't tried to play but I hope it still works.

A virus that you get from pron that restricts you from the ea servers? heh, right.


But it is kind of annoying that after updating it it wont open and wont allow me to stop it from starting at startup.

des kmal how can it be ea downloader tho . i used to play bf2 before i even had the bloody thing (ea d/loader i mean)
