Kerry's "apology" is too little/too late.  Get fucked!!!  If he can't read his cue cards, what does that say about HIS education???  Ass-hat!!!

It's too bad he gives Dems a bad name.  My Governor is a Dem and I (Republican) plan on voting for him next week.  He's done a great job for my state and then you get clowns like Kerry who screw it up.  WTF!!!

My condolences to the people of Mass.  It is a shame you have to put up with the likes of Kerry, Kennedy, and "Mumbles" Menino.  BTW, "The Swimmer", that's the first time I saw that and that is some funny shit.  Nice find.

Truth of the matter is (as it has happened in History, *ahem* the Adams and Clay Calhoun corrupt bargain) Kerry took one for the team, being the democrats. Kerry was a dying runner, he took a bullet for the team, so the Democrats could take Senator and House of Rep. seats. It's obvious.

Harmor, don't be suprised if Kerry actually gained at least 2% for the democrats with this "mistake". Ironic, huh?

lol i LOVE how all actions with regards to politics that come close to elections is premeditated and intended to win votes....i'm sure the republican party tossed up the Foley scandal for some votes *nudge nudge* oh no wait a second it was to mask the Military Comission Act of 2006. Yeah, that peach is sure to sit well with the rest of the world. While Kerry bad mouths the troops the president basically interprets the Geneva conventions to his own accord, essentially opening the doors for our "enemies" to do the same and treat POWs as they see fit. Gee i bet military personal just love that.

The thing is though, I recon people shouldn't pay so much attention to what is said, rather that to what is actually being done. Your absolutely right...the actions that this administration has taken has pretty much shit all over America's foreign policy. We invade countries that didn't attack us, IE Afghanistan, then we proceed to invade another country, Iraq, with faulty information that was KNOWN to be faulty and basically cherry picked. So lets see in summary this administration doesn't give a fuck about the troops it wants money in the form of contracts given to corporations that rebuild the countries we blow the shit out of the water.

What he means is instead of going on massive recruitment drives (though I believe there are a few going on right now, we have about 8 regiments in the entire ADF), we focus on new technologies, some of which you have undoubtedly seen (JSF, Desert Storm, Collins class sub (that one failed miserably however)...)

from which part of the society, soldiers are mostly recruited? it´s the poor and those with a lack of chances. how can someone get more chances in life, to rise up from poverty? it is education. if you don´t put all your effort in education - your last chance might be the army.
