I have no problems with the mods/rules really, I feel that as long as you use common sense and have a perception of that invisible line then your not going to get yourself temp/perm banned. I think I have been warned once in around 6 months of posting, so I'd say that the mods/admins as a whole aren't ban happy possibly even the opposite. As for the occasional "mistake" by a mod, yes it is possible, but I have yet to find a perfect human being (though many would claim to be), people make mistakes, just because certain people on the forum have a title that denotes them as a mod does not mean that they are incapable of mistakes, certain things may aggravate them and others they will care less about.

Now everyone goes over that line now and then, you flame a person asking a question that has been asked a thousand times already, you snap on a topic that might well have some personal or emotional relevance to you, but the majority of people know where to stop, those who don't have to been forcibly removed or excluded, it's the same in real life, it's the same here.

Now just out of personal interest, 2 things

1) Is there anyway we can see the logs that are kept in the admin section about ourselves?
2) In the userlist, what do "promoted" and "demoted" entail?

Because lots of people could think it was, lots of people could think it wasnt. And the fact that I thought it was ( I was swayed to think it wasnt - not a bad thing ) and you thought it wasnt was the fact I was not accusing you as a peadophile, as you clearly argued it towards it not being porn. I did not disagree or agree to it. I left the rest of mods to decide.
You did not get a temp ban as the time you were perm banned counted as that. Capiche?
I tried to contact you on Xfire, as I had already told you I was trying to resolve it in the mods forum.
But you never went on again and we finished the argument on the mods forum.

edit - yes I did say it was my mistake Serge.

Edit 2 - I am not Sergeriver, I can see all your mod history. It goes on for a while.

Just remember that your speech in this forum isn't "free." This is still a private site, which is why mods can use their own discretion in Moderating a thread. We keep speech as free as possible for both sides of whatever spectrum and try to remain as neutral as possible, but people still want to go over the line...

Edit 2 - I am not Sergeriver, I can see all your mod history. It goes on for a while.

I was on xfire and we talked for a while that saturday. And then Chuy talked with me because Alpha and Darth_Fleder talked with him. He immediately unbanned me, while I was talking with him. You said today it was your mistake, not that same day. You know how insulted I felt? Nevermind.
My mod history? Most of the warnings are about the sig size. But if your mod history says I posted child porn that's another story.

The rules are meant to make sure people are using their common sense but not posting inappropriate material, may it be pics or comments. If this was a hate website, the rules would be different.
