i was recently playing a game and i think i missed a promotion or something. i had a good round and got a silver badge, so i got 500+ points, well over what it said i needed for next rank, but i didnt get a promotion.

That happens quite often and it happened to me MANY MANY times. (Trust me, I'm Major Gold rank now)
Usually what I do when that happens is to quit the current server, and join the new one.
In the new server, I would score 1 point (anyone can handle this, I hope) and this USUALLY works for me.

The server is relay slow to update and you get it when you enter the game next time.. it has happened to me allot...

hey at least they didnt just delete your points from the round and ignore the fact you got the award or any points at all for that matter
