that dude was the man to be in the early 90s. your teacher was probably a looker.
as far as i remember, she was a hottie. Skinny tall blond chick. She was pretty young, maybe under 27. She was a cool teacher.
too bad she wasn't one of your HS teachers. I'm not promoting teacher-student relations, but you could have at least appreciated her for the view
I remember back in the day there seemed to be more than a few of us into electronic music. Where are you guys now? Whatchu into? Anyone happen to follow echospace? Stephen Hitchell (as Variant) is killing it with the Vortexual series. Hour-long tracks, deep excursions into outer space, ambient dub techno. Some are fast, some are slow, always hypnotizing.
really been digging this one lately
they're reissuing their old records on vinyl
Also a remix of The Fragile with no vocals, reworked and with unreleased tracks. Pretty interested to hear how it sounds. New EP too.

Didnt the melbourne shuffle come out 10 years ago? That hakei guy did it didn't he?
Its been around since the late 80s apparently, had a few resurgences over the years, I remember wondering what the LMFAO dancers were doing.

Recently bought a hifi setup.
Sources: Rega Planar 3 TT with Elys2 cartridge and Yamaha WXA-50 preamp and digital streamer (lossless over wifi, etc. etc.)
Amp: Yamaha A-S701 integrated amp (has DAC and phono stages, plus optical, USB etc)
Speakers: Paradigm Prestige 15B bookshelf speakers, on IsoAcoustic studio monitor stands
Since then I've been buying vinyl (only have a dozen or so albums so far) and downloaded a lot of new music and old classics.
A few discoveries I've been enjoying: Kiasmos (S/T), The Soft Moon - Criminal, Peace Orchestra S/T), Trentemøller - The Trentemøller Chronicles.
Few classics I've been listening to on vinyl: Miles Davis - Some Kind of Blue, Pink Floyd - Dark Side of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, Massive Attack - Blue Lines, Protection and Mezzanine.
