What is a targeting assist point? I was running around on the titan and randomly got one. I have no idea how and have never seen it before so I am just curious.

Got that as well - no idea.
i was killing with the demopaks earlier and every few kills i would get a driver kill assist???

BTW it doesn't always work that way. Most of the time, even though I spot almost entire force in my front view, and my teammate kills them of course, the point is not awarded._-_911_-_180891 wrote:

It seems to happen very occasionally. I am still trying to figure out how this works, since this will help Snipers gain much more points if used properly.
Maybe it's related to the netbat? So if you spot him and someone in your squad kills him you get targeting assistant

Well I should think you get a squad targeting assist of you get someone on netbat and a squad member kills him. Where as you get a general one if you just spot someone and another person outside of your squad kills him.StormEye wrote:

i got this point when i was looking at my enemy, before i can fire a shot, my teammate killed him and gave me a target assist point.

maybe its like the kill assist, you only get a small amout of a point each time, so SAY after about 4 target assists you get a message saying target assist point, but i would assume it must have somthing to do with being a SL and one of your squad kills that soldier, but probly not lol

Ss this part of 1.10? im downloading it now, at 1.45 KB/sec <<<LOL. Couse ive never seen this in 1.01 > 1.06. Odd. And i always use the SD-8 accipiter, but never get targeting assists. I think this is the first time alot of us have heard about this.

remember how in bf2 there was originally was supposed to be laser designators and that the bomber lgm was supposed to lock onto that? if the gunner killed the target you painted, you were supposed to get this point. now with the changed files it might just be a random bug. do you actually get any points added?
