Despite donating over 38 Billion dollars in the last 7 years, Hugo failed to acquire a seat on the U.N. Even Guatamala (which was backed by the U.S) recieved more votes despite promises that votes would go to Venezuela. Since the voting was secret, there is almost no way for Venezuela to find out who stabbed him in the back.

You should know by know how 1337 those guatamalans are in politics by now Hugo!

Yeah, i was going to quote this news in some thread where i was sticking up for chavez illustrating to someone that the US is always screwing with him...and in this case, they were as they manipulated the UN voting.

But yes, Hugo got pwned. I"m thinking Lula (brazil's president) should have tried for that temporary security council seat. But then, i don't know if brazil has one already or not. Does argentina have one?

What are the UN looking for in order to fill that seat? Be nice to see the job listing.

I would never bash a leader of any country. Even if it cant bribe its way into the UN. Oh, and another thing, his his oil has so much sulfur in it, the U.S is one of the few countries that can mass produce or process it cleanly into something useful.
