Yep...the Democrats will not fund the military and we will be forced to leave Iraq just like we did Vietnam in 1975. Interesting how history repeats itself.

- When Democrates take Congress, USA will leave Iraq
this is a BAD thing.
although, I don't believe they will take congress. I believe the american electorate is smarter than that. The polls you see are rigged.
you doubt me?
remember all the exit polls in 2004 showed Kerry kicking Bush's butt.

Bush is gonna be angry when he sees his plans of oil domination go up in smoke.
(completly random statement, don't take it seriously)

You are correct that the 'closet republics', so to speak, come out to vote on election day. But that margin, historially, is not as large at the gap Republicans are seeing currently.G3|Genius wrote:

Something needs to happen between now and the election to trottle the Republicans from loosing both Houses.
You all forget about the powerful +- 5%
Colbert reminds us, that if you give the republicans +5% and the dems -5%, the republicans have a major lead, plus or minus 5%. And then, if you give them THAT +5%, well, the dems will never take office.

I love Stephen Cobert...he should run for President. That movie with Robin Williams plays with the idea of a synic winning an election.jonsimon wrote:

Heres a few history lessons for you since you have no clue. In Vietnam a Democract LBJ initiated the war and a Republican Nixon is the "cut and runner". The reason we Vietnimized the war had nothing to do with funding but lack of public support back home. You're not Miss Cleo so you don't know whats going to happen and a Democractic congress would never simply quit funding our troops. Gj believing every lie a conservative tells you.Harmor wrote:

The polls are rigged only in that we are presented with two shitty choices.G3|Genius wrote:

Exit polls have as much credibility as Dan Rather.
I doubt they will pull out readily, there are many country's in arms with America in Iraq at the moment, and i doubt that they would like America leaving like that.
~ Do you not know that in the service … one must always choose the lesser of two weevils?
And Iraq will become another Afghanistan. Yes, interesting how history repeats itself.
what exactly is an afghanistan? please explainDeader wrote:

I wonder if the world would have just let Saddam invade and take over Kuwait, what the middle east would be like now. Maybe something like what happened in Europe in the 1930's and 40's. Funny how history does not repeat itself when you do something about it.
Yea. I remember watching the last prez election. Exit Polls had Kerry by a landslide. Blew that one. Danny boy Rather about had tears in his eyes. Oh how I laughed.... *shakes head* good times.. good times.. He still kept his job though even after he ran those forged military documents aimed at Bush.ATG wrote:

Since we are in the comparing Iraq to previous wars:
Iraq will become just like Iraq. It's interesting how history repeats itself.

Does anyone not remember what the exit polls said during the presidential election? It said Kerry had it big time.ATG wrote:

Please show us how exit polls are uncredible. They have a +/- 3% accuracy rate ALWAYS. It's an exact science to that degree. THis is how we know (and other more obvious findings in Ohio and other places) that there was vote tampering in the '04 election.ATG wrote:

That notorious leftist Nixon explicitly ran on an "end Vietnam" platform in 1968...Harmor wrote:

Well atleast Nixon was good for something. But he is still a lying cheating stealling son of a bitch.Masques wrote:

I don't know if I'm reading it correctly but if he is not referring to us being in Iraq after a semi-failed Afghan adventure then he could be talking about Russia vs. Afghanistan. Basically, Russia got bogged down in Afghanistan for a while some time ago and ultimately lost the war. I don't know if that is where the statement was heading, correct me if it isn't.GunSlinger OIF II wrote:

Last election. I changed the channedl frequently. I noticed in the begenning fox was slow to report. ABC & CBS however came out big with Kerry is winning exit polls. Then around 2-3 am all of a sudden Fox announced that Bush won. I changed the channel to CBS and ABC and they didn't report that... In fact, they did a blurb about Kennedy walking over to Kerrys condo. Gore paved the way for sore losers, and the "I'm gonna sue if I don't win" (democrats). Don't like it? Its a fact. Bwahhaa! Poor dems, can win constitutionaly so we sue. LAME. Watch when the dems when they don't landslide win this year. Here come the lawsuits!IRONCHEF wrote:
