we put alot of real gun parts in our guns and have to have special licences in order to keep them, problem is its about as accurate as the one in bf2.....

i live in canada also i order stock guns from www.007airsoft.com then build them, but i think the site is down right now

Thanks alot. The gun i have right now is a 92FS Beretta, its alright I guess. I just want something that hurts alot more.

Yeah. Considering that is a HUGE fps. Most guns that are auto shoot 400 max. Can't imagine anyone with a 800fps m249...

paintball- alot more skill is needed not to mention ALOT more teamwork and just knowing how to use the different types of bunkers takes alot of practice and experience.

True. But it's really only getting to a better position to shoot, and hopefully not turning around and blindfiring half of the opposite team. A lot of luck when you turn around and spray.... Like grenade tossing on Karkand..

Airsoft takes a lot more skill than that, you have to use military strategy to outmaneuver and capture/kill the entire team. It's not simply of being able to shoot, it's when to shoot, not press the trigger as much as possible. Airsoft utilizes large strategies and if MANY of the people whoever tried went to an ACTUAL skirmish, where people show up for a real airsoft battle than many would change their mind. Most places that host airsoft skirmishes are there with over 200 people on a huge acre lot where there are 10-30 squads and you use radios and everything to communicate. Especially those 3 day events.

Mainly in the US, paintball is popular. Anywhere else in the world, airsoft is a lot more popular. In the asian countries especially, you'd get laughed at for wanting to paintball..

Russia is real big on it and so is Europe in general... that is for airsoft...

If you can use your gun effectively FPS doesn't really matter if your just doing backyard wars.

You guys do realize they make paintballs the size of airsoft pellets, right? The guns are better because they dont have the enormous hopper on the top. You can get magazines if you want. Also, they still hurt (not as bad) and people cant cheat. Just thought I would throw that out there.

No. The paintball bb's are horrible. They screw up your gun and most often do not explode.

I've only went paintballing but I can see more benifits with airsoft. It's less expencive and they look more realistic ($299 dollars for a realistic paintball shotgun, I think not, compared to my $50 airsoft shotgun)

Plus if you play airsoft with people who arn't pussy, then you can trust them to stop playing when they get hit.

And if you want them to hurt more...i dunno, play naked.

I really would appreciate some one telling me if you can get realistic looking paintball guns in australia. I REALLY wanted to do airsoft becasue of the tacics and stuff but it illigal in australia.If any one knows, please state how the australian airsoft rules are currently going.

I never been airsoft but paintballing theres more worry that u may be hit cause it hurts. Plus the guns we had were so inaccurate you had balls flying everywhere and hitting teeamates, it was awesome

I have a little airsoft pistol that I shoot in my backyard when im really bored. But thats as far as my airsoft experience goes.

I've played paintball a bunch, but its just so damn expensive.

I'll vote paintball because i've never been a real airsoft match.

lol, if you were at the Paintball and Airsoft expo in Cali, a lot of paintball guys HATED airsoft MOUT, and got shot out within the first 30 seconds >< It's 2 different games. Speedball and actual tactical airsoft.

Because in the US at least, they come with orange ones so you won't get shot by the police. In theory.
