For .223, 25, 50 and 100 yards are all popular.
25yds winds up being used for a lot of target/qualification ranges.
50yds is a common one for people shooting out to about 200yds, since the variation will always be within ~2inches in that range.
100yds is more useful if one expects to take some longer shots.
