For American Skeet, International Skeet or just shooting clays on wasteland?-Sh1fty- wrote:
I'm thinking about buying this tomorrow, I've been planning to for a while. I've done some skeet shooting with it, because my friends owns one. He says it's great and he hasn't had any problems with it, and I really enjoyed using it. Shells eject underneath by the way.
Stevens 360 Ghost Ring - $300
So to all you pros out there, do you think this is a good deal and/or a good weapon?
A longer barrel gives higher velocity -> more striking energy -> more likely to break a given clay.
It doesn't look like it can take a choke tube - so its not a serious contender for skeet.
The stock is designed for tactical use, not clay shooting - ie shooting horizontally, not up in the air.
It has rifle sights.....
But you're going to buy it anyway because you're not interested in skeet, you want a badass 12 gauge matt-black pump action tactical shotgun which makes that cool 'schntick-schntick' noise for some reason which you probably don't understand yourself.
