The whole job probably took me about 10 hours, the hardest was probably the reshaping of the pistol grip and resanding. It originally had a tiger striped wood that isn't common here so i worked it a bit till i got it to where i want it. Next will be to petina the metal to give it that aged look.

- Go do some ladder/pressure testing with a box of 230gr Berger Hybrid rounds. RL-17, H4350 work nicely out to 1200 yards. Might try H4831 and (perhaps, maybe) H1000. Trying to get a load that'll stay above 1100fps out to 1760 yards (supersonic out to a mile), and consistently hit a 12" target. Preferably a 6" target.
- Go find out how my uncle's deer jerky turned out
- Go get components to build up some Landjäger sticks.
- Go chat with my local high-speed gunsmith about building me a .338 Norma Magnum. 338NM = shortmagnum-ized 338 Lapua, designed around the same size action as the 338 Lapua, but pushing a 300gr round at 2800+
- Go scout terrain for some long-range coyote shooting
