I think it's safe to say thousands of people are playing online or are at least trying to get into a server now while those who used the downloader to purchase the game are stuck looking at a clock telling you to wait. Not to say that this was intentional but don't sell someone a product based on the pretext that you will have it the second it is available when it is apparently available to others.

I believe its not so much that they can't live without it but rather that they expect it to work correctly.

Getting the EA downloader to work is swell, I wiped my Hard drive to ensure a clean computer ( I do so every so often) and forgot that it took me Months MONTHS to get EF and AF to download properly...oops. Screw the EADLoader

After BF2 did anyone really think that 2142 would go off without a hitch? I'm sure this will be the first in a long line of hiccups that will end in a 1.4.16 patch which includes new features like vehicle only mode and "Requesting titan drop".

Yea like i said we should have known better. It was just being thrown in our face so much we said fuck it, we can just get it off downloader..shame on me.
