I would almost vote Nkore...but....not really.  They are dangerous, thats for sure, but I think they are making all this noise just to get into direct talks with the United States again.  I used to oppose this, but honestly you gotta keep it real when someone got a nuclear weapon.  thats the plain truth.
Yeah, which sadly is exactly what they wanted.  They make the threat to us that they have a nuke.  The fact they supposedly have the capability puts them in the club uf nuclear nations.  I hate to say it, but it has given them a little bit of pull in the international community.

But I voted Iran.

The medieval catholic church was devoted to preserving the status quo, but reform and change came from within in response to it's corruption. The same is likely to happen to any corrupted association devoted to the status quo.

Change conquers all.

myspace. The Emo army grows by hundreds if not thousands by the hour. If this threat is not stopped in time, who knows what myspace can, or god willing, HAS accomplished? The evil that is myspace must be invaded by our allies, and occupied until we can control and the situation. The fight against Terror is now on.

Maybe not a country be a resource ie water, food, oil.

Some countries in the future may run out of food or water and attempt to take it from a neighboring country causing war.

Maybe some countries who's economy relies heavily of a certain resource leading to economic collapse ie Asian stock market crash of the 90's

I voted religious zealots...at home and abroad. Honestly, that's why Pakistan having nuclear weapons is more frightening for me than either Iran or the DPRK going nuclear. Say what you will about Iran, but it's probably one of the more stable societies in the region, save Israel or Turkey and if the current theocracy fell, the likely government waiting in the wings would most likely be better. North Korea having nukes doesn't fundamentally change the national security calculus for the US or the ROK as a pre-nuclear DPRK invasion of the south would have probably involved the US using tactical nukes and the likely destruction of the south...not much has changed as far as I can see.

Pakistan however is a different situation. Hell, Musharraf is a (fairly) good ally, but if he falls...

And I don't particularly cotton to the nuts here at home that feel that global death and carnage are a sign of the "glorious return of Jesus Christ". Makes me wish their asses were already raptured up to wherever the fuck they're going so they can leave me to my pleasures of the flesh.

Bum poll. There is no 'teetering balance' IMO - the world is relatively stable at the moment. Even N. Korea launching the paltry number of nukes they may have isn't going to do any lasting damage to the status quo on earth. Iran are years away from nukes too.

Religious zealots FTW.

You can put the whole trouble with USA, Israel, Iran, India, Sri Lanka and Al-Quaeeeeeeeeeeda down to religious zealots of one flavour or another.  If religion weren't an issue, you'd have people sitting around a table sorting things out amicably and that would leave more time to concentrate on world peace and renewable energy sources for all.

I think people are going overboard on the 'religious zeal' option. Many of the disputes you speak of are territorial, the 'religion' element being just a convenient label for either side (Kashmir, Tibet, Northern Ireland, Israel/Palestine/Golan Hts./etc.). Most people erroneously believe the war in Northern Ireland is about religion, for instance.

Religion allows people to justify anything.  It's on the same level as paranoia when it comes to manipulating people's behavior.  Islam is used to manipulate people into committing acts of terror, while the fear resulting from such acts is used to manipulate people into supporting war.  It's a vicious cycle unlikely to end anytime soon.

Id say the DPRK. They are closer to the PRC which could make things hairy if we go to war with them and China doesnt say which side it supports...

Oh, just noticed you had the UN on there, Id say that just because they are the UN.

The Catholic Church didn't change much, and only did so due to losing power.  Nobody who has power willingly gives it away.

No teetering balance, its the US vs. all.  The only reason countries align themselves with the US is because they need to.

Seriously though, Myspace is going to heavily contribute to the downfall of the American Empire.
