Greetings, I've downloaded the demo for battlefield 2142 because I've.. played all the passed games you can say? lol . But when i try to play it i get some error saying. D3XD or something like that, which is making me unable to play it, should I try re-downloading or what's happening? I would appreciate any assistance. Thanks.

d3dx9_29.dll is what is required most of the time. Do a google search for it and put it in the c:\windows\system32 directory. Or just update DirectX, link above.
This being turned into a sticky would hopefully prevent additional threads from popping up.
