For me:
War: not necessary. Last resort. The end of diplomacy.
Poverty: outrageous. The end of human dignity.
Starvation: again outrageous, immoral.
Genocide: absurd and preposterous. The end of an ethnicity.
Terrorism: unjustified, lame and irrational, playing with people's fears.
Invasion: taking what doesn't belong to you.
Ignorance: motivation for all the above words.

haha, that's funny, because the word liberal is meant to suggest going forwards..progression..and liberty is the word that shares it root.

conservative is the opposite which suggests to hold on to old ways, stay the course, keep slaves, etc. lol

Oh, i wanted to select only the worst because all were annoying and hated..with the exception of liberal and conservative...why hate on those? I picked WAR. Most of the other words evolve around or include war.

But i agree with poe..the use of terrorism or terrorist has made the american public dumber in the eyes of the world. just from everyone using "terrorist" this or "terrorism" that on these forums has pissed me off because nobody knows what it means...especially bush voters who think what bush is doing is not terrorism.

I selected all. Here's why.

WAR is a bad, bad thing. Duh. Leads to GENOCIDE, which is a crime against humanity (and a serious one at that).

POVERTY and STARVATION will mean millions upon millions of third-world inhabitees will die yearly.

INVASION constitutes a crime against peace, is even worse than war. TERRORISM shows no regard for basic rights and makes no distinction between the players and the innocents.

IGNORANCE is one of the top sources of the world's problems.

LIBERAL and CONSERVATIVE have been bandied around so much that no-one knows what they mean anymore.

Ignorance should be the worst of all, because it allows politicians (conservative and liberal) to make war, to invade countries, to let people dying in poverty and starvation, to kill an entire group of people, to give terrorism a reason.

So while it looks like liberals are the big losers, actually they are winning 58-7 votes. You are wrong, I deliberately put liberal and conservative with the true bad words, to make a point. So far, a lot of people voted for these 2 words. I feel sorry for people voting liberal and conservative more than the other words.
