Please discuss.  Are Democrats and Liberals dangerous to America, or is the right wing using the War on Terror as a scare tactic, and labeling politicians who don't agree with them as "threats to our security".

actually idiots are dangerous to america and they all happen to be wealthy and running the country.  and idiots come in 2 colors, republicans and democrats.  neither is worse than the other, but together they get us in more trouble than either alone.  i used to have a serious disdain for pro athletes and celebrities, but i have to add politicians in there also.

The people that are dangerous are those that are in politics to be something besides a public servant, and have personal agendas in mind.  We seriously need to look to term limits and campaign/lobbyist finance reform.

One thing that really bothers me about the voting process, is being able to vote for a party rather than individuals.  Party voting is for "Completely Brainwashed Idiots" and should be outlawed...not only that but if we find out you voted for a party instead of a person, you should be declared a felon for voter fraud, and loose all voting rights for ever.  imho

THAT'S WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO WANT US DEAD.  They will kill themselves, their children, their neighbors--anyone who is willing to sacrifice themselves for 72 virgins in heaven and their family's sins forgiven--just to have you DEAD.

Hardly any of us liberals on these forums have ever said that we shouldn't have done something after 9/11.  What I'm mainly talking about here is Iraq.  Republicans somehow draw a link from the 9/11 terrorists and the terrorists in Iraq.  Not to mention tens of thousands of innocent civilians killed.  Do you think it's possible that we're actually creating terrorists?

If you're solution is invasion after invasion after invasion, how the hell do you think we'll do it?  Not only will it severely piss of the rest of the muslim population, who aren't radicals, because some idiots at the White House think they know what's best for everybody, it's impossible to defeat terrorism, both in theory and in real life.

While I agree, you also have to realize that the extreme ends of the Republican party are just as bad.
