@Uzique I believe the reason people use light beers in beer pong is because the point of the game is largely to get drunk, and you don't want to spend lots of money on a good beer when you're just using it as a vehicle for intoxication. That would also explain the prevalence of light beer at college parties in general; it's fucking cheap and nobody there is interested in actually exploring the intricacies of each brew.

As for nuk being a fratboy, honestly I've always seen him as the anti-fratboy.

If the reason is to get drunk, why the fuck would you get "light" beer. It has half the alcohol content, but is not half the price. Also you'd have to drink twice as much, which would take twice as long, not to mention the total volume of liquid being required is almost physically impossible to consume before getting drunk.

My advice to all the "poor" American college students is to get the cheapest spirits they can get their hands on.
