1. The weapon handling plainly sucks and feels as though it was intended for a console game. Did DICE actually playtest this?
2. They killed off podding when not near a titan, one of the unique things about the infrantry movement in this game was being able to pod jump from place to place, it actually made it feel like futuristic combat and you were never far from action when you could pod across a good portion of emptyness. Action was fast in the first beta.
3. They nerfed almost everything. They nerfed most ground vehicles (I love the car thing though). They nerfed infrantry combat (read 1). They nerfed infrantry movement. The nerfed the air vehicles. The nerfed me.
And above all else it just doesn't feel right. I've ploughed quite a few hours in to the beta/demo and it just doesn't feel/play like a good game. BF2142 just didn't turn out the way I hoped it would after the feedback people gave from the beta. I even pre-oredered it via the EA downloader a few weeks ago, I was so sure I would like it. Oh well.
